The petition, which also includes concerns over the amount of legislation operators have to contend with and the extent of foreign competition, was brought before the Public Petitions Committee at the Scottish Parliament. This followed a protest over fuel prices and the Working Time Directive in Grangemouth in April (CM5 May), RHA regional manager Pat Glancey says: We had a good hearing; it lasted well over an hour. We were invited to petition the committee and give evidence. Fuel was part of the overall problems."
