• CENTRAL MOTOR AUCTIONS CARTER/KENDALL Brian Carter and Stephen Kendall are teaming up as joint managing directors of Central Motor Auctions, following the resignation of Chris Wright. Carter, formerly sales

and marketing director, was appointed to the CMA board in 1972, Kendall joined CMA as finance director and company secretary last year.

• AVON TYRES FLOWERS/OWEN • New southern divisional manager at Avon Tyres is Errol Flowers. He will control sales in the Home Counties and the southern region. Gerald Owen IRTE is Avon's new sales manager, commercial tyres.

• LONDON REGIONAL TRANSPORT REWSE-DAVIES Over a million pounds a day is now being poured into London Regional Transport network capital projects. To oversee

the design of all new projects, LRT has appointed Jeremy Rewse-Davies as design director. Rewse-Davies has been trained in illustration and graphic design at St Martin's and the Royal College of Art. His designs should be interesting — he was joint designer of the infamous Dr Who Daleks.

• SEDDON ATKINSON SCULFOR Bob Sculfor has joined Seddon Atkinson as manager of sales and marketing. Formerly with Eaton, Sculfor started his career in the motor industry with Ford and has held finance and sales positions with Leyland Trucks.

GRAPHICS ASHKEW Stylistics Graphics has appointed Chris Ashkew to the post of business development manager. He joins the Oxford-based company with the principal brief of attracting vehicle dealerships with promotional packages they can sell on to their customers. • JOHN DEE GROUP DOWNEY In preparation for harmonisation in 1992, the John Dee group has appointed Ray Downey as its first European development manager. Downey's brief is to identify new markets for John Dee in Europe.

• TRANSFLELT CARTER Christine Carter has been appointed truck rental development manager at Transfleet Services' new truck rental depot in Camberwell. She joined the company in 1984 and has been working as rental manager at Croydon.

• HUSK UK BURKETT Husk UK, part of the international Star Cargo group, has made Malcolm Burkett managing director of its freight terminal at Lydden Hill.
