TRUCKS ON THE A1/A14 corridor in Cambridgeshire have been robbed as the drivers slept in their cabs, say police, Two trucks were broken into last week (Wednesday 7 November), including one which had its curtains slashed at the Brampton Hut Travel Inn car park.

Thefts from trucks last month incloded 510 cases of rare Benedictine brandy from a lay-by at Godmanchester; razor blades in Blackstone Road, Huntingdon; hair products at a lay-by in Stukeley Meadows industrial estate; kitchen hobs in Ellington; and boxes of curtains from Hinchingbrooke business park.
