nESIGNS of Carveyor car transporters
suitable for the proposed increases in maximum vehicle length regulations have been produced by Carter Engineering Co. (Tam worth) Ltd. Included in these is one for a tandem-axle semi-trailer with a main structure 42 ft. 7-75 in. long.
The unit is specifically designed to carry seven Land-Rovers and follows the usual Carter practice, having a rigid upper platform and incorporating an electric lift. It is estimated that the price would be between £2,400 and £2,600.
