Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A LOW alkaline cleaner for signwriting on vehicles has been introduced by Mayvil Chemicals.

Mayvil TF95 has a pH level of 10.5, compared with 14 for sonic products. Such high levels may be effective when used with pressure washers to remove traffic film, but they can also damage alkyd-based vehicle paints.

Even if preparations with such alkalinity were diluted 1,000 times, they would still be more harmful to signwriting than Mayvil TF95 applied neat, the manufacturer claims. Nevertheless, the reduction in alkaline content has been achieved without diminishing the product's ability to remove traffic film on contact without the aid of brushes, it adds.

May vil .1'1'95 is available in bulk, 21)1)or 25-litre containers.
