LONDON TRANSPORT is stepping up its drive to recruit more bus staff by converting an AEC Swift single-deck bus into a mobile recruitment centre.
The bus, which was converted at a total cost of £7,000, will tour areas where staff I shortages are most acute. 1 Potential new bus staff can now make applications to join LT at their local bus garages. The recruitment bus will initially tour Hanwell, Southgate, Clapton, Uxbridge, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Lambeth, Wandsworth and West Ham.
