THE West Midland "As and Ds " contains an A licence application for four artics, on a "General goods, Great Britain " normal user. It comes from Oldbury contractors DOB Transport, Ltd.
In the Western publication, Transcon, Ltd., of Thornbury (Glos.) request a B licence for. a. substantial number of vehicles which they propose to operate under hiring allowances. They seek a total of 10 vehicles carrying foodstuffs and confectionery for H. S. Whiteside and Co., Ltd., and associates "any distance."
An application, couched in the most general taring-" mainly meat, eggs and general goods; all provincial towns in England "-for four vehicles on A licence, appears in the Metropolitan " As and Ds." Eldridge Haulage are the applicants, and the application includes three insulated containers.
