IE UK distributorship of Dixon coil-handling equipment has een taken over by Fred Myers Ltd. A range of coil grabs and hooks suitable for various sizes and widths of coil and for use any fork-lift truck or crane is available.
ie coil-grab range gives lifting capacities of 1,000, 2,000 and ) lb. and coil hooks are available in seven models with cities from 1,000 to 7,000 lb. The grab firmly grips the coil t its inside and outside radial thickness, and loosely strapped coils can be handled without risk of telescoping. The coil hook can be used for similar purposes but as it has no clamping device it will not stop the coil telescoping.
