A SUMMER engine coolant additive called Prestone is announced 1-1by Union Carbide Ltd. The new coolant is claimed to eliminate overheating by a unique dual action. Corrosion inhibitors circulate with the coolant, preventing rust building up inside the system. A magnetic film ingredient in Prestonc stops existing rust in the system from circulating and blocking radiator tubes and small passages. The material is supplied in 1 pint cans and should be added to cooling systems in a ratio of 1 to 16.
