"PUBUC TRANSPORT: is decline inevitable?" This is the question that might be answered at the annual public transport symposium which is to be held at Newcastle University on April 19-21.
Speakers include Ken Gwilliam, a director of National Bus Company and professor of transport economics at Leeds University, Bill Cottham of West Yorkshire PTE, John Welsby from British Rail, Brian Barrett of NBC, Phil Goodwin of the Transport Studies Unit at Oxford, Peter Collins of London Transport, Jan-Erik Kjellberg of the Swedish Public Transport Association and Tony Hancock of the Transport and Road Research Laboratory.
