• Due to continually increasing demands for a quick and efficient accident repair service, Plaxtons (Scarborough) Ltd has transferred its Scarborough repair department from its Castle Works, Seamer Road, to its Eastfield works. This move has opened what is claimed to be one of the largest repair shops in the country.
Plaxtons has also increased • the repair
capacity of its southern depot at Widbury Hill, Ware, Huts, by building further extensions. Operators requiring repairs to any coaches or single-deck buses—not necessarily of Plaxton manufacture—are invited to telephone Mr D. Naylor at Scarborough (0723-63311) or Mr T. Lawson at Ware (2383).
