Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A COURIER DRIVER sustained multiple injuries when he tried to prevent his vehicle from being stolen on 9 July. David Fletcher received life-changing injuries after two men stole his Mercedes-Benz Atego (below) in Purfleet, Essex.

Leonard Wilsher, of The Fremnells, Basildon, was charged with theft of a motor vehicle, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving while disqualified.

Five other men were arrested in connection with the investigation and have been released on bail until 20 September.

After retrieving Fletcher's lorry, officers issued the photograph seen here hoping it would jog the memory of people in the area who may remember seeing it.

DCI Lucy Robinson said: "I would be interested to hear from anyone who was in the area of Wood Avenue, the social club known locally as the Fondue Club, the Bowls Club and the recreational area in front of these buildings at the end of Wood Avenue. They may have seen something of assistance to us, a car, or another clue to help us."
