• The Diecasting Society and the Transport Trust have joined the Institution of Mechanical Engineers scheme, initiated last summer, which offers secretarial and administrative support to small societies.
Societies already taking advantage of the scheme are the British Acoustical Society, the British Society of Audiology and the Society for Underwater Technology.
