Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Announced this week, to coincide with the launch of Ford's important A-Series range, is a completely new passenger body from Strachans. Called the Pacetraveller, the body is a logical addition to the company's already successful Pacemaker range on the Transit chassis.

The Pacetraveller is based on the new Ford A 0609/0610 chassis and is offered with a choice of petrol or diesel engine. The new model is obviously aimed at the growing midibus market and has seats for 20 passengers. Strachans is building the parcels van version of the A-series range (described in full on page 57) but the Pacetraveller is a completely separate design. Apart from the front end, common to all variants, it is new from the ground up.

In standard form the Pacetraveller is 21ft 6in. long, 6ft I lin. wide and 8ft 6in. high. It weighs 3035kg. Optional extras include a destination blind, power-operated door, different seats and a 30 cu ft rear boot.

Price with Ford's three-litre V6 petrol engine is £3777. With the six-cylinder, 3.5-litre diesel engine it is £3920. Body price alone is £1950. The Pacetraveller is not yet approved by Ford but it is hoped that this will be completed shortly.
