A lorry (3t tons) has been taken over by Messrs. Parrington and Morrow, 58 Northwood Road, Portsmouth. in a first put chase.
Parkstone Transport Co., Ltd.. Cranbrook Road. Parkstone, who have bought another lorry (71 tons), have transferred one (21 ions) of their present fleet to Messrs. T. and L. Transport, 54 Blundell Road, Widnes.
Other assignments have been made by Mr. A. E. Parker, Fairway, 45 Fishbourne Road, Chichester. a lorry (27 tons) to R. T. Page and Son, Ltd., Littleham_pton; and Mr. G. W. Denham, Pyle Hill Farm, Fair Oak, Eastleigh. one (11 tons) to Mr. E. P. Mathews, Crayfield goose, Spring Lane, Colden Common, Winchester.
LONDON AND HOME COUNTIES Four London units, comprising five vans (10 tons), have gone to W. Wood and Sons (Motors), Ltd.. John Street, London, W.C.1. They were Finsbury unit 7828, Bow unit 7133, Newington Butts unit 7843 and Bethnal Green unit 7862.
Rackliffe (Guildford), Ltd., Mangles Road, Guildford, have added three mare articulated outfits (6 tons) to their fleet. They made up units 8027 (Reading) and 7800 (Southampton). Rackliffe (Guildford), together with Mr. H. Rackliffe, now have some 40 vehicles on special A licences. Newington Butts unit 7847 has been purchased by Mr. Sidney Harris. Salem House. Morning Lane, London, E.8. It comprised four vehicles, including three vans (11 tons).
