Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The first training vehicle to be handed over by the Road Transport Industry Training Board to a Scottish group was presented by the Board's director of training, Mr. Peter Haxby. in Glasgow on Tuesday. An AEC V8 Mandator tractive unit with 33ft Taskers trailer, it was handed over at a ceremony at Bishopbriggs to the Glasgow Road Haulage Group Training Association Ltd.

The group comprises 19 hauliers who employ a total of 895 drivers; initially the emphasis will be on driver training, and already a training officer, Mr. James Whyte, and two instructors have been appointed.

A second vehicle, due to be handed over shortly, will be a BIVIC Laird with 24ft platform body.

The chairman of the Training Association is Mr. John McNaught of D. McNaught and Co. Ltd., who received the vehiclefrom Mr. Haxby on Tuesday on behalf of the group.

• Containerbase ;Scotland) Ltd., which has been in operation for the past six months at Gartsherrie, Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, was opened officially on November 7 by the Secretary of State for Scotland.

Containerbase is situated on the site of the old Gartsherrie Iron Works.
