Ltd., Northern Trailer Sales Ltd. and Northern Truck Distributors Ltd. has been bought by Logan and Cranston (Plant) Ltd. of Glasgow. an important company in the planthire field. Mr. Edward McKenna of Logan and Cranston takes overas chairman of the Northern Trailer Group but Mr. Harry Gennis continues as managing director.

Three depots are operated by Logan and Cranston in London and the firm has premises in Manchester. Northern Trailer will be using them for spares, repairs and sales bases and a new office is to be opened in Birmingham.
