CM has checked out the Durashift and bi-fuel options (see boxes) and the subtle differences that give the new Transit 125PS engine rating an extra 15% torque, improving performance over tough road conditions.

The 125PS engine produces 123hp (92kW) at 3,800rpm with 285Nm of torque from 2,300rpm, whereas the outgoing 120PS engine was rated at 118hp at 4,000rpm and 240Nm at 2,300rpm.
