INTEGRATED IMECHE
• "Integrated Engine Transmission Systems" is the impressive title of an Institution of Mechanical Engineer's twoday conference which will be held at Bath University on July 8 and 9.
Among the topics being discussed will be hydrostatic and mechanical transmissions, energy-storage systems, driveline matching and control and military applications. The keynote speaker will be Gordon Dawson — former president of the IMechE and a powertrain designer. There will also be speakers from Ford Motor Company, MAN, Lucas, Self-Changing Gears, Leyland Trucks and London Regional Transport.

RADIOPHONE ROADSHOW
• Philips has a speciallyfitted mobile exhibition vehicle currently on a nationwide tour to promote its range of cellular vehicle phones.
The converted coach will be on the road for the next four months supporting the company's network of dealers and its own direct sales force in a variety of locations from Devon to Scotland. It will also be appearing at county shows throughout the UK.
