• Thompson Carmichael's latest non-tipping cement tanker includes a number of weight saving features giving it a 34m capacity and payloads in the region of 27.0 tonnes.
It's shorter than before with steeper angled discharge hop pers and spring hangers integral with the aluminium monocoque structure.
With aluminium wheels and R0-R Flexair tri-axle running gear the tanker tares out at 4.9 tonnes; further developments promise another 100kg saving.
