Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

as well DAIHATSU UK has introduced a revised range of four wheel drive Fourtrak vehicles. They are available with petrol or diesel engines and cost from £5,999 to £6,875, plus vat. The range incorporates new engines, a new body shape and a wide variety of new features. Daihatsu says it aims to appeal to the growing 4WD leisure sector as the traditional markets.

The range comprises four models, two hard top and two soft top with either diesel or petrol engines. Long wheelbase models are to be added later this year.

The petrol models are powered by a 1,998cc four-cylinder water-cooled engine which produces maximum power of 87bhp at 4,600rpm and maximum torque of 1 1 6Ibft at 3,000rpm. Fuel economy is claimed to be 23.4mpg (urban cycle), 25.7mpg at 56mph and 17.6mpg at 75mph. Top speed is 81mph.

The diesel models are powered by a 2,765cc four-cylinder water-cooled engine which produces maximum power of 72bhp at 3,600rpm and maximum torque of 1 2 5Ibft at 2,200rpm. It achieves 29.7mpg (urban cycle), 30.4mpg. Top speed is 75mph.

The diesel models have a new intake/exhaust system, strut reinforced pistons, comprehensive sound-proofing and new engine mountings. A new quickstart ignition system ensures easy starting in virtually all conditions, according to the manufacturer.

All models have a new five speed gearbox with revised gear ratios, and a single transfer lever governing two/four-wheel drive, and low/high ratios.

The range also has improved suspension — based on a rigid axle and leaf springs, with extra long gas-charged shock absorbers — and more powerful braking, through a larger servo to the front wheel disc brakes.

Internally there are a number of features designed to aid comfort and safety. These include new seating with more head and leg room; internally adjustable door mirrors, a comprehensive heating and ventilation system. There are a range of warning lights, controls and instruments including — on various models — a tachometer, voltmeter and clinometer (which indicates the slope of the vehicle). Standard external features include free wheeling front hubs, a locking fuel cap, a fuel tank guard, wide wheels and tyres and a handy rear step to aid loading and unloading.

The sheet steel body is hand polished. Over 90 per cent of the body panels are galvanised, to avoid rust.

Standard exterior colours are white, red, yellow, green, blue, metallic silver and metallic blue, and the standard interior trim finish is grey vinyl.

A wide range of optional extras is available. Extras range from cloth upholstery and carpets at £80.50 inc vat to a towbar at £74.64 inc vat.
