Tripoli return

A JOINT shipping and forwarding venture to get boilers and a chimney to the University of Tripoli was mounted by Schenkers Ltd and Intermar SRL of Thiene, Italy.

The two companies chartered a ship to collect the loads from Manchester and Newport, where Schenkers' staff supervised the loading, and then the unloading at Tripoli.

Quick move

KWIKASAIR Express has moved its Midlands depot to larger premises at Penkridge, Staffordshire, on its main truck route connecting London with Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.

The new 28,000 sq ft depot at Penkridge is beside the M6 and will help in connections to another new Kwikasair depot at Glasgow. There the depot is moving from Glasgow airport to Paisley later this month.

The company also plans further moves to expand its services in the UK and Ireland. It anticipates increased business in 1977 and the expansion. has been undertaken to cope with increases both last year and this year.
