MR. M. C. CULLIMORE has been elected chairman of Stroud Sub-area of the Road Haulage Association. MR. J. R. GODDARD is vice-chairman, with MR. J. DOEL as secretary.
MR. J. ANDERSON has been elected chairman of the Aberdeen Sub-area of the Road Haulage Association. MR. R. BARRACK is vice-chairman, and MR. J. SCOTT MACLACHLAN secretary.
MR. H. R. CLARK has been appointed general manager of the West Bromwich and Pensnett car and commercial-vehicle divisions of Jensen Motors, Ltd. He has been Jensen's sales manager since 1955.
MR. T. K. LAWLER, sales manager for the India Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd., and Mr. P. WORTH, works manager, have retired. New appointments are MR. H. B. MACKENZIE (sales manager), MR. W. L. ASHTON (equipment sales manager) and MR. H. TORLAY (works manager).
MR. F. A. J. W000won-r0 has been appointed traffic manager of Hebble Motor Services, Ltd., succeeding MR. R. DUNK, who is joining the Yorkshire Woollen District Transport Co., Ltd., as traffic manager. Mr. Woodworth has been manager of Red Line Continental Motorways, Ltd., for the past four years.
MR. H. CLEMENTS has been appointed sales manager of the new equipment division organized by British Belting and Asbestos, Ltd. MR. MICHAEL WINTER has become sales executive in charge of the company's Coventry office, where he will be assisted by -MR. P. ASTON. Manager of the new plastics division is MR. J. WILLANS.
MR. SYDNEY TINDALE, formerly consumer trade sales manager of the National Benzoic Co., Ltd., has been appointed manager for marketing of the company— a new post. MR. D. A. SHAW, previously retail marketing sales manager, has become sales manager, and is responsible for retail marketing, consumer trade, real estate, special trades and pump departments. MR. T. F. MACFARLANE has been appointed consumer trade manager at the company's head office.
n10 MR. H. E. BAYMAN, manager of Exide and Drydex replacement sales in this country, has retired after 25 years with Chloride Batteries, Ltd.

RUSSELL, chairman and General Manager of British Road Services, last week received a presentation from past and present members of the board of management to mark the 10th anniversary of B.R.S. MR. LORD BRABAZON OF TARA, chairman of Associated Commercial Vehicles, Ltd., who was 74 last Saturday, celebrated his birthday by playing 18 holes of golf with the Managing director of the company, MR. W. R. BLACK.

MR. L. A. C. BARTLETT, director of the steering-gear division of George Kent, Ltd., is visiting the United States from February 22 until the end of March in connection with developments in the company's power-assisted and manual steering-gear business.
MR. SYDNEY S. GUY, former chairman and managing director of Guy Motors, Ltd., has been elected an honorary member of the British Transport Vehicle Manufacturers' Association. Other elections are: MR.
