MR. M. C. CULLIMORE has been elected chairman of Stroud Sub-area of the Road Haulage Association. MR. J. R. GODDARD is vice-chairman, with MR. J. DOEL as secretary.

MACFARLANE has been appointed consumer trade manager at the company's head office.

MR, ROY G. EMMETT was last week re-elected chairman of the London and Horne Counties centre of the Motor and Cycle Trades Benevolent Fund. MR. G. SELWYN &Arm was re-elected honorary treasurer and Miss G. M. HORNER, honorary secretary.

MR. L. A. C. BARTLETT, director of the steering-gear division of George Kent, Ltd., is visiting the United States from February 22 until the end of March in connection with developments in the company's power-assisted and manual steering-gear business.

MR. SYDNEY S. GUY, former chairman and managing director of Guy Motors, Ltd., has been elected an honorary member of the British Transport Vehicle Manufacturers' Association. Other elections are: MR.
