The 12m, air-suspended Tigers are fitted with Leyland TL11H engines and a 4HP500 gearboxes with integral retarders.
A wider front entrance at the front is featured, thanks to a lowered nearside chassis frontmember. Tigers of this type are also in service with Ulsterbus, Fife Scottish Omnibuses and Grimsby-Cleethorpes Transport.
The bodies for the Srniths-Shearings Tigers are by Alexander of Belfast and can carry 79 passengers.
