vIERSEY Docks and Harbour .7ompany is going into the oad haulage business. They Lave joined forces with oils, ats and commodity brokers iorco Ltd to form a new nsport consortium, Norco ransport Ltd, based at Morth Dock, Birkenhead. The o parties are reported to ave an equal interest in the ew company.
Norco Ltd already had a ulk liquids haulage division hich operates a fleet of 15 railers, chiefly MAN, Volvo, ercedes and Crane ruehauf.
Bulk traffics in the Port of iverpool are an expanding ctor of trade and a new edle oil installation is due to be pened near Gladstone Dock ter this year.
