John Carr takes over from Norman Mould as Pirelli Ltd's managing director on July 3. Mr Carr who will join Pirelli in May, has been with Dunlop since graduating from Leicester University in 1952. He is general manager of Dunlop's group purchasing and management services division at present. Mr Mould has been with Pirelli since January 1976, having worked previously in various Dunlop posts. He retires at the age of 60.
Leyland Vehicles has appointed Colin Watters as home sales director for its Passenger Vehicle division. He will be based at the division's West London headquarters at Windmill Lane, Southall.
Formerly area engineer central with Ribble (NBC), Thomas Fox has become assistant chief engineer. He joined the industry in 1963 as an apprentice with Midland Red, and transferred to Ribble in 1971. John Jepson, who was previously group chief engineer for National Travel (NBC). Ltd, has become chief engineer for Eastern National.
A new member has been appointed to the adjudication panel of the Don Safety Trophy. Tony Lee, public affairs director of the RAC, replaces Paul Haile, who died last November.
Six employees of the Western Welsh and Red & White Bus Companies in South Wales, who have over 300 years service between them, have received long service awards. They are: 0.

David Holland has been appointed to the board of W. J.
