ONE OF the first Leyland Royal Tiger Doyen integral luxury coaches to be delivered to an operator was due to be handed over to National Bus Company chief executive Robert Brook by Transport Secretary David Howell at a ceremony at Victoria Coach Station this week.
The fully integral coach is built at the Charles H. Roe plant in Leeds and is powered by a rearmounted Leyland TL11 horizontal engine. The coach features full air suspension and is available with a choice of manual or semi-automatic transmission.
