Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ALOADER which, it is claimed, can be adapted to all types of tipping vehicle, forms the subject of a patent being negotiated by Mr. R. L. Wood, of Neville's Cross Garages, Ltd., Durham. The device consists of two beams, which can take up their pivotal points at either end of the vehicle, to give rear loading or front loading facilities.

The inventor proposes to couple up the existing hydraulic ram to the beams, the means adopted being dependent upon the layout of the particular ram gear. It is understood that the fitting of the loader would in no way interfere with the, normal duties of the tipping body. The body would begin to tip when the loader had reached a height sufficient to clear the body.

The loader could be held on the site and fitted to a lorry for loading purposes and then removed. It could also be adapted as an effective snowclearing appliance. In that case, the bucket, in the form of a scoop, would be mounted at the front and pass over the cab to load.
