A general meeting oi the A.R.O. North Staffs members in the Potteries, on Monday, was addressed by Mr. H. H. Lapsley, C.M.U.A. Manchester area secretary. Amongst those present were Mr. Tom Caddy, A.R.O. North Staffs chairman, Mr. G. F. Goodwin, A.R.O. aistrict organizer, and Mr. S. Preece, C.M.U.A. Manchester and Liverpool organizer.

Deputation to Yorkshire M.Ps.

The North-Eastern Division of the C.M.U.A. is arranging for a deputation to interview Yorkshire Members of Parliainent. It is understood that the subjects will include the taxation on vehicles and petrol, the regulations concerning back-axle weights and the speed limit for heavy commercial vehicles. The deputation will be introduced by Mr. F. G. Bristow.
