AN in:rease of 10 per cent, in haulage rates has been agreed between the Northern Area of the Road Haulage Association and Durham County Council. The new rates, which are published below, became effective on April 1 last and will remain in operation through
out the financial year. If necessary, they will be reviewed after September 30 next.
Apart from the charges listed here, there is a schedule dealing with rates to be paid for the haulage of snowploughs.
