TEXACO has specified the AE group's Econocruise cruise control system on 14 of its new Rolls-Royce 300Li-engined Leyland Roadtrain tractive units.
The Econocruise push-button control allows one of three intermediate cruising speeds to be selected by the driver below a pre-set maximum top-speed limit.
The system's electronic sensing and controls are designed to keep the vehicle's speed within plus or minus one mph of the selected figure.
