OUTINGS •
COLLOWING the announcement by 1 the M.0,1ALT. that special buses may he used for private parties, without prior sanction, bus operators in the rorth-east have been inundated with inquiries from all classes of organization wishing to arrange outings. The rompanies have had to turn down most of the applications, owing to shortage of labour and buses.
It is pointed out that the Ministry's consent to private bus hiring is conditional upon such services not interfering with essential . and normal services.
