It would seem once again that hauliers are to be penalised, this time by Ken Livingstone if he becomes Mayor of London.
This might not affect the James Hams and Eddie Stobarts of the world but would cripple those in the construction, skip hire and concrete business.
Surely it's time we as a haulage industry got together and made politicians sit up and listen. We are a powerful body if we all pull together, and we don't seem to be doing much about it apart from letting everybody walk all over us.
