• More than 2,000 South Humberside truck drivers are carrying police cards in their cabs containing the number of an anti-theft hotline.
Drivers taking part in the "Truck Tell" scheme can call the police with any information about vehicle thefts.
Ex-HGV driver PC Derrick Thomas says : "Drivers were often seeing strange truck movements but were reluctant to dial 999. Now they can call our central number and report anything suspicious."
