Overall, sales rose from 16,837 to 21,157, but truck and artic sales fell from 3,688 to 3,402. Non car-derived van sales rose to 11,883 from 6,756, car-derived van sales fell from 5,063 to 4,255, and light 4X4 sales rose from 936 to 1,301.
Overall, importers' share of the market fell from 30 per cent to 29.6 per cent.
