Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

MODULAR MANAGEMENT • The Road Transport industry Training Board (RTITB) has launched a new "modular" management training scheme, "Supported Open Learning" (SOL).

To cater for "the diversity in size and type of businesses within the industry," SOL offers a series of "modules", each covering a specific area of management skills. These can be tailored to individual needs and each training programme will be supported by RTITB personnel.

The self-contained modules, including audio and video tapes where relevant, cover eight areas: supervising; personal effectiveness; managing people; business law; business information; managing an operation; business development and managing a small business.

For full details of SOL contact Keith Robinson at the RTITB, Capitol House, Empire Way, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 ONG.
