Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

the longest-ever UK-made trailer road train has been built to cope with the rigours of the Sudanese desert.

The road train, just completed by the York Trailer Group, is over 30.5 metres (100ft) in length and comprises a Scammell Motors S24 tractor unit and two Scammell Trailers 12.5m (41ft) semi-trailers, coupled with a heavy-duty two-axle drawbar dolly.

It has been bought by Sudanese Cosmetics and Household Products in Khartoum and will be used to move the company's raw materials and products between Port Sudan and Khartoum.

To overcome the tough en

vironment in which it will operate the road train has been fitted with twin 340 litre fuel tanks on the tractor, supplemented by twin 680 litre tanks on each trailer, • feeding the tractor via trailer pumps. This gives the rig a range of 6,035 kilometres (3,750 miles) — more than enough to cope with the 2,000 kilometre round trip.

Both semi-trailers and drawbar dolly are fitted with high articulation York-built Dreadnought suspension and heavy-duty range axles which can 'walk' over rough terrain. The driver is also able to engage differential locks to drive all rear wheels for maximum traction on the two-axle drive tractor.
