Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IN your news item headed BL Trumps Ford Again (CM, November 22) you state that for the second month running, Ford was beaten into second place in terms of commercial vehicle registrations in Britain.

I would like to point out that when one includes the total Ford registrations in Britain, the figure should take into account the Fiesta van, manufactured in Valencia, and the Transcontinental, which is manufactured in Amsterdam.

While these figures appear on the same sheet from the SMMT albeit in a different postion, they do not appear to have been added to the Ford of Britain total. When these are included, it raises the total FoB commercial vehicle registrations for October to 5,363 — some 97 vehicles more than British Leyland.
