I HAVE BEEN reading with interest the articles and letters in CM on recovery.
I am sorry but I cannot see their argument. The law is the law and you either run within the law or break it. I know for a fact that the majority of Avro members are not only engaged in the business of recovering vehicles but also in transporting vehicles for hire and reward.
As for James Riley's statement that the public are not concerned about safety, I certainly am, if he happens to be behind my legal recovery vehicle, runs a national operator's licence, while going down a steep hill, M. PALMER Mike Palmer Transport Bath
