"What Dave and Colin recognised are rny organisational skills and they clearly believe I can keep the business running and keep the customers there all the day-to-day business activity," she says.
"Coming from a finance background where you have to be organised and follow set procedures, that's where I think my skills are. While any potential expansion is going on the important thing is that we retain the business that we've al ready got. That's where my role is. There's no point getting any new business ii you are losing the old.
"I'm very proud to be MD of Prohire. Not because I'm a woman, but because of what I do —I've got where I am through hard work."
