Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

periods and records came into effect in the United Kingdom for drivers engaged on

international journeys. Would you please explain the deerence between the times. rest periods and records kept by a driver working within the UK and a driver on international jobs?

A The table reproduced below, which

was issued by the Department of the Environment will illustrate the difference quite clearly. The heading "Normal 1968 Act limits" refers to drivers engaged on work wholly within the United Kingdom but it should be noted that these will apply only until December 311975.

As well as the EEC hours limits shown, there is a distance restriction on drivers of articulated vehicles over 20 metric tons gross or any vehicle with more than one trailer. These drivers may not exceed 450knrt (about 281 miles) between daily rest periods except when accompanied by another driver.
