Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

OW APPROPRIATE it was for Ir Selkirk to write to you (CM, ugust 29) with regard to the rmitage proposal for a 4.2m eight limit, for the introduction f such a limit would impose an iormous cost on certain aerations, with little or no )mpensating benefit.

I would, however, assure Mr elkirk that ETA has certainly iken an active interest in this — 3 in all — proposals made by rmitage, and the Association as made the strongest .presentations to the epartment of Transport with a iew to ensuring that there will e no undue interference with lose operating methods and ractices which in many cases have stood the test of years of accident-free operation.
