• Runcorn Transport Services Ltd has moved its lig and main depot to a new base at Pieow Farm Road, Runcorn, Cheshire.
Situated on a six and a half acre site, the new premises comprise 6000 sq ft of administration and maintenance building, with ample room for the construction of a planned warehouse. Facilities include automatic fuelling, parking for 200 commercial vehicles and 100 cars,' all the latest maintenance equipment and ultramodern administrative offices, which include a traffic office containing drivers' reception, route planning, costing and map rooms.
About 100 vehicles and 80 trailers will be operated from the depot, mainly on the carriage of hazardous loads.
