A DUBLIN lorry driver who w blown through the window his windscreen by a gas exp sion while making a delivery meat to Nato forces in West GI many was awarded the equiN lent of almost £180,000 damag by the High Court in Dublin.
The Court heard how Fran Brown had taken a lorry load with meat to the US base at Sc weinfurt. When he arrived th were not ready to take his lo and asked him to wait.

However, h extensive burns made him u able to resume his driving jo He is now employed as an a sistant transport officer, and th Court was told that his futu loss in earnings would amou up to about £156,000.
