: ROAD Transport Training Board has applied to the Manpower rims Commission for additional grants but has to hear dher it will be successful. yet le Board is very keen that )loyers who feel they might eligible for a grant should le a claim with the Board, for on the basis of claims reed that the Board's allocawill be decided.
le grants available are as fols: andwich students. These are ( for college-based students on certain courses in automobile engineering where an employer provides employment and training which is an integral part of the college course.
Redundant apprentices. These are only for employers who recruit redundant apprentices (not covered by Youth Training Schemes) and who are prepared to offer training for the whole of the remainder of the apprenticeship.
Computer training. These are for high-level technical training and employers using or wishing to use small business systems.
Applications should be made to the Board Secretary, at Capitol House. Applicants should identify which is being requested and provide full details of the courses being attended and the individuals concerned.
