Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Scottish trailer-building company of Northern Trailers Ltd. has been appointed distributor of Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles in the five counties of Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, Ayrshire, Kirkcudbright and Dumfriesshire. The appointment was made too late to allow the company to qualify for exhibition space at Kelvin Hall during the Scottish Motor Show, and so it has erected a marquee on the corner formed by Old Dumbarton Road and Benaleder Street close to Kelvin Hall.

In the marquee are shown an IS 1418 normal-control tractive unit for 30 toils g.t.w., coupled to a tandem-axled semi-trailer finished in the livery of Gaulds Transport Contractors, of Stonehaven, Kincardineshire. Also shown is an LPS 1418 forward-control tractive unit.

Semi-trailers exhibited are an F12 tipping trailer—this is for operation at 18 to 20 tons g.t.w.—an H16 platform type, for 22 tons g.t.w., a Northern/Bonallack Weightsaver van, a 40 ft. unit for indivisible loads, and a tanker running-gear with a capacity of 18 tons at the ground.

The section of the Northern Trailer Co. Ltd., responsible for the distribution of the Mercedes vehicles, is called 1 he Northern Tractor Co. and is a newly formed organization.
