Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THREE vehicles required for what was I described as "peculiar traffic for the 40 to 50 customers in the clothing trade of the Mantle Delivery Service were the subject of a B to A switch granted by the North Western deputy Licensing Authority, Mr. G. Newman, sitting in Manchester on Tuesday.

In evidence, three customers spoke of a trend in the clothing trade to deliver completed garments in mail-order boxes —one-piece cardboard boxes with a handle on top which folded up around the othing. Until now garments generally had been carried on hangers in rack-fitted vans. To carry the boxes, clothing manufacturers were having to use private cars to fulfil orders.

British Railways, the only remaining objector, withdrew when an operating area of Lanes, Yorks, Cheshire. Northeast England, Staffs. and London was added to the normal User.

. The application—to carry clothing and goods for-the manufacture of clothing— was granted subject to the surrender of the existing B licences.
