A NEW company. UBTVI Transport Ltd.. has just been set up to take over the rAresponsibilities of the transport division of United Builders Merchants Ltd.. (The Metal Agencies Co. Ltd.. William Dibben. and Sons Ltd.. Rownson Drew and Clydesdale Ltd,. and others)
This new transport company controls 251 C-licensed vehicles. about 180 of them being 5-tonners. approximately 50 being 7/8-tonners and, the rest tractive units for 12 to 20 tons g.t.w. The principal areas of operation are in Wales, the West and southern England, but UBM vehicles make deliveries in almost all parts of the country.
