LTHOUGH four stands are quoted ri here, only one Karrier vehicle is on display at Kelvin Hall. The four Rootes distributors in Scotland are having a joint stand and the Karrier appears with the Commer models listed separately'in this preview.

The Karrier shown is a Bantam tipper with a wheelbase of 8 ft. 2 in. and is fitted with a timber body and Edbro tipping gear. Nominal load capacity is 3 tons and the chassis has a Perkins 4.203 fourcylinder diesel engine which produces 63 b.h.p. gross at 2,600 r.p.m. and gives a maximum gross torque of 142 lb. ft. at 1,450 r.p.m.
