So overcome was Felixstowe man Richard Collins by the charms of his Scania that after just one week of knowing Andrea Newton he proposed to her in the cab.
BRS trucker Richard was so in love he chose a Scalia to be the wedding vehicle and asked Chris Robinson of Robinson Trucks Stowmarket if he could borrow one of the latest models.
The wish was granted and a brand new R113 took him (and Andrea) to church.
The love story turned sour, however, when Richard spurned the Scalia and took Andrea on a honeymoon without it.
